It’s using Speaking!
Getting more clients is really a simple numbers game.
If you want to get 3 new clients in the next 30 days…and let’s say you have a 30% conversion rate on your Discovery Sessions…
You need to have 10 Sales Conversations. (With a 30% conversion ratio…3 of those will become clients…Now you may have a 50% conversion rate
which would mean you only need to have 6 conversations to get 3 New clients! So just make sure you are using YOUR conversion rate. And if you don’t know it…
start keeping track!
But how do you get people into Discovery/Strategy Sessions? YOU ASK THEM!
Let’s say that you have a 30% conversion ratio of the people that you ask to go into a discovery session with you.
So what I mean is that for every 3 people you ask…1 person says yes to the Discovery Session.
So that means you need to ask 34 people to a Discovery session to get 10 Discovery Sessions! Make sense.
Now it can take A LONG time to invite 34 people into a Discovery session with you!
BUT……
If you are giving a 45 minute talk to 34 people…and offer a discovery session at the end…you have just invited 34 people and it
only took 45 minutes!!!!!!!!!!
This can be if you are speaking live or virtually like using a teleclass or Google Hangout or Spreecast!
Speaking DRASTICALLY increases the number of people you are inviting into Discovery sessions in a VERY SHORT PERIOD OF TIME!

Now don’t get me wrong…I’m not saying to just go out and start speaking without having a clue of what you are doing. But if you have that desire
to speak, then it is well worth the time and money to learn!
3. You have to be registered with some association
WRONG! You can if you want to, but that doesn’t necessarily make you a better speakers or get better results!
You get better results from learning strategies and then putting them into real world experience!
4. You have to give a “Perfect” talk to be successful
WRONG! There is no such thing as perfect! The only way to learn is to get out there and learn from your experiences!
