A year and a half ago I was in a very tough place in my coaching business.
That month I only made $100 in my business! Pathetic, right! I was on the verge of giving up, I was beyond frustrated, and just couldn’t see how anything would ever change.
I “just happened” to sign up for a free call online with a coach and she was talking about how to make money. At first I was skeptical, but then I found what she was saying made sense to me. I started to get really excited and hopeful that I had found the answer to my prayers.
At the end of the call she offered tickets to attend her event across the country and it was only 3 weeks away! I instantly went into freak out mode! I knew in my gut I needed to be there, yet the fear was overwhelming!
What would I do with the kids? How would I find the money? Am I CRAZY to even consider doing something like this?
In the past I would have let all those reasons stop me!
I did something that day that completely changed everything!
Despite the overwhelming fear and the huge list of all the reasons why I shouldn’t attend this event….Guess what I did???
I SAID YES!
The event was business and life changing! I went home from the event and made $2500 in my business in the next 4 weeks! That may not seem like a lot of money to some of you…but when you go from $100/month to $2500/month that is a QUANTUM LEAP!
So often we just say NO to everything because we believe all the excuses and stories about why we can’t do it. And guess what happens? We get more the same over and over and over again.
So if you want to really shift your life and your business start by saying YES to the opportunities that will move you forward.
How many times in the last month have you said NO to an opportunity because of fear or lack??? Be really honest with yourself!
The next time you are presented with an opportunity ask yourself:
- Could this opportunity help get me closer to where I want to be in my life and business? If yes, move to the #2.
- Put your hand on your heart and ask yourself if I had 100% belief in myself and the universe that I was fully supported and knew that everything would come together even if I didn’t know HOW in this moment, would I say yes?
- Make a commitment to your growth and no longer tolerate allowing fear or lack to rule your decisions and watch your life and business blossom!
